Nobel laureates Symposium
Nobel prize laureates gathered and jointly issued a call for “Action for a Low Carbon and Equitable Future”. The symposium was hosted by the Prince of Wales at St James’ Palace and the text of his speech is online. The sub title of the conference was ‘The fierce urgency of Now’ and a lot of emphasis was given to the need for urgent action. A strong memorandum was published after the meeting signed by all the Laureates and experts present, including JRI President Sir John Houghton.
