The International Energy Agency has published a paper on redrawing the world energy map. It highlights topics such as the subsidies on fossil fuels which have recently grown, and it presents data relating to recent governmental policies of developed countries, especially subsidies on coal. It also considers the relationship between world energy policies and the actions that could help limit the rise in global average temperature rise. You can watch the video introduction from this YouTube link, and the report is accessible online from the IEA.
December 2019 update: the video introduction is still available from the above link but the specific report referred to in this post has now been removed from the IEA website. However many other recent reports are available, www.iea.org
